Rubber Stamp



We should all Strive NOT to be "Rubber Stamps" in our own God given lives...
These are our own lives dammit, remember "YOLO"?? that shit still applies... We Only Live Once, ok it's WOLO now 😋


Let's break down 'rubber stamp'... According to phrases.org.uk :

"rubber stamp" as a verb: "To endorse or approve uncritically; to pass routinely or automatically."
 Jah, it's sad... Last week I drank 4 bottles of whiskey with some friends, because one of them sent me a text "let's go out"... I went out, it seemed like it didn't matter that I wanted to stay indoors and watch a dozen movies...

Now my primary school teachers would call that 'Peer Pressure', but I would like to disagree, no one held a gun to my head to go out drinking. So please that mentality must fall... When you call it peer pressure 'responsibility' falls away, and it's not logical to blame other people for crap that is going on in your own life, you're not a child...

Here is a new term, "Rubber Stamp"... Now what I did last weekend was I ignored my needs and I uncritically approved a trip that was not part of my plans.

And yes, I am a Rubber Stamp... You can also admit it, it's not a shame...

Now the danger with this type of mentality is that people tend to walk all over you, they can sniff it out that you don't take your decisions very seriously and they always throw suggestions at you, and they do it freely because they know you are a Rubber Stamp...

That's the magic word... Say no, you don't even have to explain it... It's your fucken life and you don't owe anybody an explanation... Say No... Then live your life... Thank you...

Laying on my back on the soft block paving of the Apartment Building, Looking at the young evening sky with dawn throwing its last kicks... A gas Lighter in one hand and a cigarette in the other.
