Some of us let it die and rot inside, then we start hating existence itself. Dearing the Devil to try his best.
Fuck, i don't know how to write this, too many thoughts in my head. Let me take a swing, if i miss, i miss...
A long time ago, i read a theory somewhere that states:
When the Bible says:
Gen: 2:7 "...And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being..."
What happened on that day, is that God shared some of his 'powers with us'. At the time i never paid much attention to it. Laughed it off. Until recently when i read 'The Lost Symbol' by Mr Dan Brown. In the book biblical scriptures were quoted:
Psalms 82:6 "...I said, You are gods..."
John 10:34 "...Jesus answered them, “Is it not written in your law, ‘I said, “You are gods”..."
It all came back and those unrelated pieces of literature form a union. The message i got was, we are the creators of our reality.
Even traditionally, the Xhosa people understood this, because for years our parents have been preaching:
"...umlomo uyadala mntwana wam..."
No matter what's going on on the outside. Hence Viktor Frankl said "...Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms—to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way..." it's a glass half empty/full situation.
The manifestation of this, are all the 'rags to riches' stories floating around our society.
Some of us live in our heads too much, dreaming and wishing, we forget that:
"...You are what you do NOT what you say or wish for..."
This hurts me more, because on my wall there is a quote that reads:
"...I was looking for someone to inspire me, motivate me, support me, keep me focused; someone who would effectively love me, cherish me, make me happy and then I realized that all along I was looking for myself..."
Damn,
Inside each and every one of us lies a complete Life. others refer to it as 'Potential'. What manifests on the outside is what we invest our time and attention in. It's like working Mathematics, with fractions.
Numerators and denominators. The numerator is always 1. and that's YOU. The Denominator is the things we pay attention and give time to. The more things you juggle, meaning bigger denominator, the smaller the end-result will be after the equal sign. 1/4 is 0.25, 1/9 is 0.111, and the freak show goes on... We must remember that none of those answers is incorrect. The question is one happy with the answer. This Life shit is not a competition. Unless you willingly want to be depressed.
So what does your heart want the most? Are daily micro-actions the fractions of the sum/result you want??
Speak your Life into existence, Don't be scared of your Potential.
Never forget that:
"...Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us..."
