The Moon of Love


I have noticed something,
I have noticed that my love for her grows with the passing of each Full Moon...

When it glows over Africa, my heart beats harder, my heart beats faster...
When it lights the African Savannahs, it lights my Future with her...

As the Moon moves across the night sky my smile is Wider,
As the Moon shines its light my Smile is Brighter...

It's round shape reminds me how complete my love for her is....
It's round shape reminds me that we are not free from challenges...

King Author had his "Round" table of knights,
So "Round" must be the symbol for protection in all our fights...

Westlife sang "its us against the world",
I guess me and her are the 21st Century's Romeo & Juliet...

The Moon is not always full & Round,
It reminds me there will be ups and downs...

When I think about her am a different Man:
My thoughts become narrow, because she is all I think about...
My thoughts take flight like a white-crowned sparrow, for they fly to where she is in my times of drought...

When I think about it I can tell she is special because:
Every breath she takes give me hope of a better tomorrow...
Every breath she takes just fuels my love to grow...

Shakespeare wrote "shall I compare the to a summers day"
I will not say that because I am a winter baby.
But in the end I have to agree with the bastard,
Because in the end he spoke the words of my heart.

The moment I saw these words:

Laying on my back on the soft block paving of the Apartment Building, Looking at the young evening sky with dawn throwing its last kicks... A gas Lighter in one hand and a cigarette in the other.
