The toilet paper tale

Image
I am talking about a “Baby-Soft Double Ply” toilet paper roll. Let me take you through the journey that results in that beautiful softness. It was a normal cold night out in the jungle, but on this particular one the mind was stronger than usual. The whirly wind ripped me off my mother’s pod, I fell on the ground, alone, cold and scared. I lay there screaming for my mother’s attention who stood strong and proud against the winds as always, she paid no attention to me. I wonder if she mourned me. After hours and hours of screaming it finally hit me that from that point onwards I was by myself, no mommy to protect me from the world. I wanted to do something about my situation, but I was just a seedling, no legs no arms, I just lay there praying hard and hoping a Good Samaritan walks by. The blazing sun used to scorch my bare skin as I was no longer protected by mother’s leaves, the rains too fell on me, I was even hit by a fucken lightning bolt at this one point. I was whi

Jesus and His 12 [11] disciples

Everyone knows Jesus’s crew, his clique, the ultimate 12 . Made up by the likes of Matthew, Mark, Luke, John and many more. Jesus actually went around looking for men to join his crew, he wasn’t just taking anyone to be on his team. Rule No.1, “ No chicks allowed ” and rule No. 2 was you must have a certain skill that you will offer to the crew. Jesus actually wanted 11 disciples, but here is how he ended up with 12. [I think he had a Toyota Venture, 4 back seat, 4 middle, 2 front seat and the driver] Anyway, one of the niggas he wanted was Peter, if you read your Christian books you will know Peter was also a Doctor by profession, he possessed the skill of healing and Jesus needed someone to carry the First Aid kit on his trips around Europe, so here is how Peter was recruited: Matthew 4:18-20 (KJV) “ And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: they were fishers. And he saith unto

I am the only one who has lost himself??? I have noticed something about my childhood, Young Mzu was awesome, he ruled, I wanna be that nigga again. I really don’t know what happened along the way… Let’s explore: 1. When I was in pre-School, I went after the hottest girl in my village. I was after her for years and years, I never got her even though she loved me back [I have proof], she was never mine, but I do have some have memories to treasure shame. That girl is a young happily married woman now, therefore I cannot disclose her identity. Now this new Mzu trembles at the site of a beautiful woman, I would never look at one, let alone talk to her. Where is that brave Mzu?? The one who goes for anything he sets his eyes upon???   [ P.S: Baby, you are beautiful and I love you, I am talking about these bitches I meet on the streets, not that I wanna talk to them, love you ] 2. When I was around 11 years old, I electrocuted an older cousin of mine, he and his si

The Glass

Your mind set is one of the key players on how your life turns out, I strongly agree that “ you are what you thing about the whole day ” Or the Bible verse: Proverbs 23:7 (KJV) “ For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he… ” What is more important is HOW YOU THINK ABOUT IT, you have to be “the glass is half full” type of person. Here is a little story before I continue: “ Once upon a time, in a land far far away, lived a man with two sons. The man was a drunkard and abused women/kids, his wife had died by his hands when the boys were still young. The boys both grew up with this tyrant of a man, this drunkard. They witness everything from the heavy drinking to the abuse. The man died when the boys were teenagers, he choked in his own vomit. One day the boys were men, all grown up and leading their own lives. One of the boys was a drunkard and abusive just like his father, the other was a well-mannered church goer who respected women. An old man who lived next d

Stick and Stones

John 8: 7 (KJV) “… He that is without sin amongst you, let him first cast a stone at her .” This one goes to the so called “haters”, I have never met any of you or have heard anyone admitting or claiming this status, but whoever you are, I hope this reaches you. In fact if you are reading this and you know a hater please copy the link and send it to them. Ok wait, this is no longer addressed to the haters, it’s for the dream killers. All of them, the ones who do it intentionally and the one that are always saying “I know better, I am trying to save him from mistakes, I am saving him from himself”, WHO ASKED YOU??? These are the people that were afraid to follow their passions and chase their dreams. These are the people that looked for insurance/security in a stable ‘risk free’ job. Let me not be unfair, the other side of the coin reads: These are the people who did not have the luxury to really decide to take their lives where they wanted them to be. Soon after gra
